In the wake of the recent gut-wrenching incident where, a Pitbull dog violently attacked an Indian stray dog while the owner of the Pitbull did nothing but allow her dog to severely injure the female stray dog who was a lactating mother.
The poor dog is in critical condition and is currently coping with the grievous injuries.
While we wish her speedy recovery, it is noted that Pitbull attacks are quite common. We are never against the animal. We believe the owners should be more responsible and held accountable for whatever their pets do harm to others, including stray animals.
Pitbulls are notorious for attacking human beings and other animals. There are several online communities that advocate bans on Pitbulls. Their frequently used motto is that Pitbull should be considered as a wild animal, not as a domesticated one.

India government has already banned Pitbulls with other ‘dangerous dog breeds’.
Hence, as a responsible pet website, we recommend our readers to stay away from the idea of adopting a Pitbull as your pet dog.
Hence, we have decided to remove Pitbull from our “list of best dog breeds in India”
